RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS
For Non-Professional (NPDL) / Professional (PDL) Driver’s License / Conductor’s License (CL):
You may apply for license renewal at least 1 month before the expiration but not more than two (2) years after the expiration date.
- Current Non-Professional (NPDL) / Professional (PDL) Driver’s License / Conductor’s License (CL) due to expire or expired but NOT more than two (2) years.
- Download, Print and Fill Up the LTO Application Form. (DOWNLOAD FORM HERE)
- Medical Certificate with Official Receipt (O.R) issued by any LTO Accredited or Licensed Physician.
- Photo Capture and Biometric Signature (Personal Appearance)

If Driver’s License Is Expired:
1 Day to 1 Year: 75.00
1 Year & 1 Day to 2 Years: 150.00
More Than 2 Years: 225.00
If the expiry date of the license falls on a weekend, holiday or non-working day, the license shall be renewed on or before the last working day prior to the expiry date of such licenses.

DELINQUENT / DORMANT DRIVER’S LICENSE:
For Non-Professional (NPDL) , Professional (PDL) Driver’s License and Conductor’s License (CL) expired for more than 2 years, aside from the Renewal Requirements posted above the applicant shall also re-take the LTO Written and Practical Examinations.
So don’t forget to renew your Driver’s License one or two months before the expiry date to avoid the hassle of retaking the exams again.
